Dr. George J. Dusckas

Dear Dusckas family,
You are all so fortunate to have had your father in your lives for so long. He was always a true gentleman and a great neighbor on Nevada Drive. Many good memories of your family and you should be proud of how your dad contributed to Erie in his career and personal relationships.. I remember those years and your incredible mom Lola. Cherish those memories and be assured they are together again. Sincere sympathy to all of you.

Dear Dusckas Family, we extend our sincerest sympathies. We were fortunate to have attended Dr. George's 100th birthday party at the church and see and talk with him. Joy's family (Kokoros) was very close with the Dusckas family for decades. May his memory be forever eternal.

George was a kind and thoughtful man who I have had the pleasure of knowing for most of my life. I was a patient of his as a little boy and a colleague later in life when I became a surgeon. I'm sure the Lord has welcomed him and I pray that your entire family will find comfort in your many wonderful memories. Peace!

George was my doctor when I was a teenager and through the years I got to know him and enjoy his company on many occasions. He was kind, always fun, and nobody loved Pitt sports like he did. He was one terrific man who was loved by many.

Sympathy to the family. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Dusckas at the Erie VA. He truly was a remarkable man. He sure had a love for March Madness.

Dr. Dusckas was quite a man! I always enjoyed visiting with him whenever he came into my pharmacy. He was always a pleasant man, quiet and well loved. I will miss him dearly

Doctor D. Was one of my first doctors at the Erie va hospital. He was a very kind tolerant person and cared for the veterans. Bless the family and may our great heavenly lord above bestow peace and love now with ascent of Doc..

What a wonderful man. I knew him as Sallie's dad, my ENT as a child, a physician at Hamot when I was an anesthesia student, & worked with him at the VA as a co worker. I remember entering the Dusckas living room as a kid & being amazed. There were 4 tvs on with different games going! Great memories! It was an honor to know him.
I know you will miss him terribly & hope that all your wonderful memories will help ease the pain.

To all of the Dusckas family: George was a dear friend for many years, I still miss the fun we had playing poker, wagering on Pitt sports and his always positive outlook. My sympathy to you all, he was a really special guy.

Con and I are saddened to learn of your dad's passing. He was a remarkable man, father, grandfather and physician. You and your family are in our prayers. Doc was the best...a gentleman and a left long dedicated Pitt fan...he will be missed by many but remembered for his love of family and community.
