A True Hero that gave his entire Life For his Country and Family. This Life, cherished with, for, and, by him, is a blessing for everyone that had the opportunity to know him. This life that he has walked so honorably, is passed, but, he is on another great mission now. Wishing the family my deepest sorrow but know so many are here to offer our blessing and support. GOD SPEED, Richard Erickson, Sergeant Major (Retired), Special Forces. Ft Bragg NC.

To the entire Gaspard family, I am heartbroken to hear that George "Speedy" Gaspard has passed. We only served together for a short time 1968-1969 but during those interesting times, I would not have wished to spend it with any other soldier. I will never forget his leadership, his stories and humor. He was a true professional and I am deeply honored to have known him. RIP Speedy

To the entire Gaspard family, I am deeply sorry to hear about the loss of LTC Gaspard. He was a trail blazer in the SF world and an American hero. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting him a couple years ago. My deepest condolences and sympathies are with you all. God will bless him as he greet him at the last rally point.

"Speedy" was my friend and Hero. He was the essence of both a Southern Gentleman and Professional Soldier. I hope all who loved and knew him will appreciate the moments they were able to spend by his side. Suzie, I celebrate His life with you and mourn His loss as well. God Bless.
