Dear Sue, Jenny, Betsy, and Peter,
I cannot begin to express the depth of my sorrow for you and your extended family during this unimaginably difficult time.
George was a truly remarkable person who touched the lives of everyone around him, including mine. His kindness, warmth, and genuine spirit were gifts to all who knew him.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences, along with my hopes for peace and comfort during this time of loss and beyond.
With love and sympathy,
Nancy

I am so sad to read of George's passing. I met George only once, with his husband Eric on the island of Milos. We were taking photos of the sunset and we ended up having a lovely dinner together. I loved George & Eric's love of life and traveling. That evening, I invited myself to join them for dinner. They were so gracious to include me - and I recall that someone sent over a bottle of wine to acknowledge how kind George and Eric had been to include me (a solo traveler) in their romantic dinner. I know that this was but a "moment in time" for George, but the kindness, laughter and energy will be with me forever. Some people, like George, will never be forgotten. Eric, sending you love and grace; I hope you will continue to travel the world spreading your beautiful energy.

George,
You were a ray of light and positive energy in my life. Working with you brought me so many smiles and pure joy. I will always remember going to hot yoga with you, elizabeth st garden, our dinners and nights in NYC. I am so sad to hear this news and I want to wrap you in a big hug. I loved knowing you and will always remember and love your beautiful soul.
