George Greiner

I was a member of the BRHS-West track team under Coach Greiner. He was an exceptional motivator, a strict taskmaster for conditioning, all tempered by a great sense of humor.
His character and soul were always in the right place. I reconnected with him a few years before he passed, and was surprised/honored that he remembered me.
A class act. I feel blessed to have known him.

Our thoughts are with the Greiner family at this time. It is comforting to know George ran the good race and is at peace with our Lord. It was a pleasure to be on the same faculty with him during the Glory Years at BRHS East. George and Mike coached both our sons and also brought them into FCA. Now their sons work with FCA athletes. George and his family coached, taught and live lives of examples through their trust in our Lord. George will be missed by all of us who knew him.

A wonderful coach from 1970-1974, he will be missed but never forgotten from the class of 1974.

Susan, we would like to share our deepest condolences for the home-going of our dearest brother George. I know that he is enjoying heaven now with the same exuberance that he enjoyed life down here with us mortals. But now he has his reward for a life lived for the Master, from of his heart and to the fullest. He ran his race, He finished the Course, and I am sure he heard the words we all seek to hear one day 'Well done, good and faithful servant! -- Enter you into the joy of your lord.

George's life, like everyone's, has an impact that is so much greater than we can see. His was positive, as many are not, and a reflection of his Savior. His legacy will not be fully known until we see clearly; as many that his life impacted were not known, even to him, as the boys, men, and people he touched, touched and continue to touch others. May we all leave such a legacy that is a blessing to others.

We knew him as our Uncle George. We have wonderful memories of the fun and positive energy he brought to every family gathering. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Aunt Susie and the whole beautiful Greiner family.

Coach Greiner was such a wonderful man who I watched have not only an impact on my life, but an amazing impact on my brother's lives.
He was such a respectful man and always such a positive role model. He made our high school a much better place because he was such a large part of it.
Rest peacefully in the arms of your Lord and Savior, Coach Greiner.

George Greiner was a giant of a man, who positively influenced the lives of many teenagers at Bridgewater-Raritan High School East in New Jersey. I consider it a blessing to have known him, when I was in high school. God bless and keep you, Coach Greiner. RIP... you have earned it, sir.

To us, George Greiner was the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. We've only known him since 2002, but the LORD'S Light shown in his big smile, sparking eyes, and the Word he spoke - always Words of Truth. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Susan and Mike especially, for the peace that passes all understanding on this new journey. We rejoice that our physical separation is but temporary, for we will see him again, Glory to the Lamb of God!

Coach Greiner was an important influence to many students and student athletes at BRHS East. He leaves fond memories to those who knew him. My sincere condolences to his family.
