I always admired Mr. Hale for his work at the Little League fields. When I was older, I realized what an inspiration he had been to me. A great man!

I'll always remember Mr. Hale and Mike working on the VFW ball fields on Sunset Dr. What a thrill it was to play there.

Mike and Ronnie
I was sorry to hear about your Dad. Both he and your Mom were very special to me ---going way back to when we moved to Athens. I'm out of town right now and could not attend the funeral service but will give you a call when I get back in town.

Mike, Ronnie , and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Both of your parents meant so much to the community. My mother loved to tell stories of "your parents dating , and her younger years in school with Ferrell ". They were a part of a great generation. We are so blessed to be, the kids of depression parents.
He will be missed.

Mike, Ronnie and family,
I am very saddened to hear of Mr Hale's death. He was a true gentleman and dedicated so much of his time to the Little League fields at Sunset park. My parents thought the world of Ferrell and Elizabeth because they were such great Christian people. May he rest in peace.

Uncle Ferrell was such a fine man. He will truly be missed. We are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. We are sorry that we are unable to be there, however Linda's health makes it very hard for her to travel at this time. We will keep you all close in our hearts.
Love to all,
Greg and Threasa Hall
