My condolences to the Harbin and Giuliano families. George was always quick with a kind word and a funny story. He was well liked and respected among his peers and competitors in the EAS industry. We've lost a special person.

I had the pleasure of working with George. He was a true gentleman with the highest integrity and a sense of humor and humility that made him an unforgettable part of my life. My deepest sympathy to his family. George will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know him !

I went to Furman with George, reconnected with him last year, and enjoyed his company (in person and electronically) immensely. Because I'm in Wilmington, NC at this moment, I cannot attend the service, but I have looked at all the wonderful pictures of a man who loved his beautiful family (including that cute little doggie) and who smiled and laughed throughout his time here on the planet. My thoughts and prayers for comfort and peace are with all the Harbins. Shelley Smith Hobson

Today we pause to reflect upon
a gentle, loving man who has shaped our character, molded our spirits and touched our hearts.
May the lighting of this candle be a
reminder of the memories we have shared and a representation of the everlasting impact that George has made upon our lives.

I met George when i was first hired by Sensormatic in 1987, I was sent to Florida for training and had the pleasure to train with George for over a month. I laugh because George was told that he would have this young rookie training with him and i'm sure that was "just" what George wanted day in and day out, me driving around with him. Ha! I learned how to sell from George he had his own style and was calm in his approach. He told me as a new sales person that you have to create your own style. He was not your typical fast talking salesman. We use to laugh , I told George that he reminded me of the snake from the kids movie (Jungle Book), once the customer look into his eyes he would mesmerize them with his pitch. He guided me both personally and professionally. There is one person in our lives that makes that lasting impression , George was that person for me, his character and kindness will never be forgotten. Barbara i am so sorry for the loss of George, he was truly and wonderful man and friend.

So sorry to hear the news of George's passing. It has been a number of years since I've seen him but have many fond memories of time shared. It must be twenty years since he told me one of the funniest jokes I've ever heard, and yet it seems so recent. Our heartfelt condolences to the family. You are in our prayers.
