Thank you for all you did to keep us safe during the war. I was born in 1957 but I believe with all my heart that I have my freedom because of everything that you did for the United States.

Lt. Col. Hardy was indeed a great man who served his Country very proudly. Meeting him was a honor I will cherish the rest of life. As a Purple Veteran, he made me want to do more to help all veterans. May God bless the memories he left with us!

Lt. Col. George Hardy´s life of courage, service, and leadership stands as an inspiration to us all. His dedication as a Tuskegee Airman and his commitment to sharing history will never be forgotten. I met the Colonel at artist Frank Hopper's home in Sarasota. I was a Captain with TWA at the time. We swapped flying stories for an hour or so, with George educating me on what he and others were subjected to in World War II. My respect for him could not be higher than it is. I wish I could have spent more time with him. He was a consummate gentleman. George, my best to you on your final check ride. God speed.
