What a shock - I am so, so sorry for your loss. I never knew him but I loved his artwork. May your family find comfort and strength in the fact that he made a difference in the world. May the hole that he left be filled with memories of all of his good deeds. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I had the great honor, while teaching at FHS, of talking with Jerry several times about kids and teaching and life. He was a wonderfully dedicated, funny, passionate teacher who truly deserves to be remembered as the best of the best. He was also the teacher of my two kids who also have great memories of him. You will be missed Jerry!

I am so sorry to hear about Gerry's passing. I had the pleasure of knowing him when we worked together at FHS. Gerry was well liked and respected by all, and my memory of him will always be one of a dedicated teacher who always strove to bring out the very best in his students. My sincere sympathy and condolences to his family during this difficult time.

Very sorry to hear about Gerry. He was so young and one of the good guys. As the head of the Science Dept. I would sometimes ask him to take on a project for us and he never failed. He always had a smile and a good word whenever I saw him at a meeting or in the corridors of FHS. We often had lunch together with Mike Flaherty and Al Warsing. My prayers go out to you at this trying time.
