HORVATH, George It is with great sadness that the family of George Horvath announces his sudden passing on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. George will be deeply missed by many. He was a caring son to Arpad and Maria Horvath and a dear brother to Danny (Dianne) and Monica (Steve). George was a loving and proud father of three daughters Amie (Trevor), Nicole and Natalie and will also be missed by their mothers, Gail and Jan. He will always be remembered as a fun-loving uncle to Ron (Mandi), Nick (Lescia), Sophia and Marina, and Lucy and Sammy. George will be honoured through stories to his beloved granddaughter Olivia. He will also be greatly missed by all the hearts he touched through his love of baseball, hockey, kicking butt at the gym, coffee shops and being the best shoulder to lean on. George always put others first. In lieu of flowers, the family is kindly asking for donations to Wayside House of Hamilton, 15 Charlton Ave. W., Hamilton, Ontario via https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/wayside-house-of-hamilton. Visitation will take place at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL 43 Barton St. E. (near James) , Hamilton on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. with a service to follow at 4 p.m. Following the service, the family would like to invite everyone to St. Lawrence Parish Hall, 125 Picton St. E., Hamilton from 6-9 p.m. for a sober celebration of George's life. Join us for food, coffee and the sharing of memories through music and story. God grant us the serenity to accept this change, the strength to heal and the wisdom to live fully in his memory.
