We still remember and talk on George and Judy. Any given time when the kids are home and we're gathered and just visiting, I'll talk about the years I worked at their Law Office in downtown Raleigh, visiting them a time or two at the beach, and the kids remember the Aquarium and the Giggling Mackerel. George was a gentle giant. We would love to hear from Judy. My cell is 919-805-1969 to text and call day or evening.

Nothing has changed. George and Judy are the same, sweet, honest, sincere couple they always were. Every time I drive through downtown Raleigh, especially if I catch the red light, I look up to the second floor and think on them. Every time I open our coat closet and see the yellow 'Giggling Mackerel' ballcap George and Judy bought for our younger son, I think about how good it is to know good, loving people. Life is simple but it's not easy...but it's a lot easier when you know folks like George and Judy Hughes. That's just a fact. As a matter of fact, it's a truth. Love, Robert, Susan, Jared and Jacob Miller.

Our sympathy, prayers, thoughts and support go out to Judy and the entire Hughes family. I have had George and Judy on my heart for quite some time. I was compelled recently to drive down their street where they used to live in Raleigh prior to them retiring to the beach. We still have the yellow hat from The Giggling Mackerel that George got for our son, Jacob, back in the day. I used to take care of their computers and their closing up their office and retiring was my first life lesson in customers moving on. I still drive downtown and think on their office on Martin St. I still remember their break room with the tiny TV..and Judy's boxes of snack crackers. Very kind, hearts full of love, compassionate people. George..what a good man. Love, The Miller's.

Judy, I just learned of George's death. I am so sad, the memories came flooding back of our law practice, golf games and times together. We had lost touch, but never in my memories. One of a kind, your George. I will hold the memories close in my heart. Be strong. Joe Cheshire
