George Jaros Obituary
Of Cheswick, on Monday, October 15, 2007. Husband of the late Marina Jaros; father of George Jr., Stephen and Joseph Jaros, Carolyn Zak, Kathleen McKown and Jeanne Shemenski; brother of Steve Jaros; 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Mr. Jaros was the recipient of the Silver Star and several Purple Hearts. Friends will be received Wednesday 9 to 11am at the CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pgh. St. Springdale. Funeral Mass at 11am in St. Alphonsus Church, Springdale.

I only now learned of your great loss. It's been a very long time since I've seen your father, but the last time I did, he, your late mother, and I all exchanged hugs. I am so happy for that "closure." Your father was an amazing man; missed by many. He lives on, as I know my sister, Trudy, also does. God see you through this, and know you all will indeed be together again. He is at your side now, as well as with God and your sweet mother. I pray with you this season. The year has taken many from many of us. Let their strength and qualities allow us to endure the season, and know they are with us always.

Hi Pappy,
I am SO happy we got to spend some time together recently. I will remember that night forever and everything you said to me. You are one of the most amazing and strong people i have ever met an you are an inspiration to many. I will remember your personality, funny sense of humor, advice, and your stories through out my lifetime. I will love and miss you always, until we meet again... All my love.
