Mrs. Johnson and Family,

We were deeply saddened to hear of G's passing. We sat with him at Cotuit Kettleer games over the past 9-10 years. He was truly one of a kind. It was too quiet at third base tonight without him.

Gigi was a true original, while in his company he always made sure I had a cold beer in my hand. Although I have not seen him in years, the image of him chomping on a cigar and complaining about any various overpaid local professional athlete will forever be burned in my head. He was a lot of fun and will truely be missed.

Sorry to hear about Mr Johnson. He was alot of fun. I enjoyed when he would take us up the ballfield as well as playing pool and horseshoes with him. The story I remember most was when Jeff had a broken hand (?wrist or arm), Mr Johnson was cleaning the gutters in the back yard and he tells me he is afraid of heights so I go up the ladder and clean the gutters. He was a great guy!!!!
