George "Josh" Wiggers Obituary
George "Josh" Wiggers, known to many as Josh and affectionately as Uncle Josh, passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 75.
A man of strong faith, a sharp mind, and a legendary sense of humor, Josh lived a life marked by curiosity, generosity, and devotion to his family. Passionate about electrical work and how things functioned, he also made a lasting impact as a book publisher. Under the name Uncle Josh, he created maps that became a staple in home education.
Whether sharing thoughtful insights or delivering a perfectly-timed dad joke, Josh left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
The oldest son of the late EH (Ed) and Jeanne Wiggers, he is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cindy (Whitmore); their children, Libby and Karho Lim, Hannah and Adam Gullett, and Alex and Ashley Wiggers; 10 grandchildren; and two brothers, Thomas Wiggers of Beaverton, Oregon and Dr. Mark Wiggers of Cumming, Georgia.
A Celebration of Life was held on April 29, 2025, at Victory Christian Fellowship in Somerset, KY.
