George Kilner Obituary
Service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Garden, Reidsville.
Mr. Kilner was born in Olsburg, Kansas, to the late Edmund and Julia Rouse Kilner. George was retired from Mize Motors and was a WWII Army veteran. Mr. Kilner was a active member of First Baptist Church for 61 years.
Mr. Kilner is survived by his daughter, Ann Hughes and husband David of the home; grandson, Ethan Hughes of the home; brother, Wayne Kilner of Manhatten, Kansas; sisters, Donna Lovgren, Elsie Mitchum, Edith Thompson, all of Manhatten, Kansas.
Mr. Kilner is preceded in death by his wife, Mae Roberts Kilner; brothers, Lloyd Kilner, Ralph Kilner, Lawrence Kilner; sister, Vivian Dibbs.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service (1-2 p.m.) Thursday and other times at the home.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 533 Greenwood St. Eden, N.C. 27288.

George used to give me rides on the tractor when i was a kid at grandpa roberts house He give me my first book about cars to which i owe him many thanks because i am still working on them to this day I will always remember him
