Age 90, of Allison Park, on Sunday, October 7 2018. Beloved husband of Mildred (Vrane) Kusevich; loving father of Sandra Pappa and George (Maureen) Kusevich, Jr.; dear grandfather of Frank (Kelley) Bedoloto III, Jamie Kusevich, and Kelly Kusevich; dear great-great-grandfather of Sebastian and Paxton Bedoloto; brother of Anna Marie Cvitkovic and the late Catherine Lamana; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. George began his career as a bricklayer and in 1958 founded Kusevich Contracting, Inc. He developed a distinguished business building commercial and food service facilities in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Most notably, his company built many McDonald's in the tristate area. He was a hardworking, humble, man of his word. He adored his loving wife and took great pride in his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Always conscious of his Croatian roots, we cherish and observe many of these traditions today because of him. He loved the Steelers, Pirates, and Duke Basketball. He was an avid handball player, golfer, bowler, and swimmer. Our life is rich because of him and we will miss him beyond words. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Nicholas Church, Millvale, on Thursday at 10 a.m. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Contributions may be sent to the Society to Preserve the Millvale Murals Maxo Vanka: 24 Maryland Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15209.
