We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the Lartz family. We first met George and Edna while in missionary training in Fredonia in 1975. We had newly arrived from England and what a warm welcome the dear folks at Zion chapel gave us. It was George who recommended us going to Story Book for a summer and what a world of sweet contacts that opened up to us! We had the privilege of renewing fellowship with George at Allen Hanson's home on our last visit to the US a few years ago. A blessed time! Fond fond memories of faithful servants!

We are so thankful your parents took the time to come to Baudette, MN. What an encouragement George brought to all of us, and our Assembly Lake Road Chapel. We are sorry we can not make the funeral, you will all be in our thoughts and prayers. Rex and Julie Block

Mr. Lartz was one of my favorite teachers at Urban. I still use some of his corny jokes and will long remember his favorite safety tip..."Protect your eye from the chip that does fly" My condolences to his loved ones.

My condolences to the Lartz family. I took George's class at Urban Jr. High in the early 70's and enjoyed it very much. I use many of the skills he taught me in my home workshop even today. Kind Regards.

Carol and I have such fond memories of George ("Uncle George" to the many of us who knew him from Story Book Lodge Christian Camp and heard him minister the Word of God as teen campers way back when!). His life directly impacted me in more than one way - spiritually and as a young teacher in the public schools. His sense of humor was tremendous and his smile and twinkle in his eye were ever present! But most of all we will remember him for his deep love of His Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." Psalm 116:15

Sorry for your loss. He had a long and faithful walk with the Lord. His memories of the past will not be forgotten. He is rejoicing in Heaven now.

Dear Mary Sue and Richard,
Our sympathy to you both in the passing of your Dad. What a long and interesting life he had. We have memories of Hickory Corners and George driving our small children around on his tractor trailer. George also made a beautiful barn-board picture frame for us. And his books were most interesting with spiritual applications. Again, our sympathy to you both.

Fred and Maribeth Runyan send their condolences. We rejoice that George has now "graduated to glory," but our hearts cry with those who will miss him so much. Thank you, Lartz family, for sharing him with us!

What a wonderful picture of George. Sorry I won't be able to attend the services but know that I will be there in spirit. It was such a pleasure to get to know George and appreciate first hand his humor which made dark days so much brighter. He will be missed but am sure he is in a great place now. Shelley LPN Pinehaven
