George was the ever kind and affable person to all who he met or was associated with.. He made me laugh a lot and was an inspiration in many ways to me and all our coworkers. Working with George was always pleasant and yet got our work done with great satisfaction.. He will no doubt be in heaven telling his plethora of jokes and saying we all enjoyed here. RIP George.

I worked with George during our days together at Inland Steel or "Mother Inland" as he would often say. He always had time to answer a question or offer some advice be it personal or professional. He was truly a class act. My condolences, Mary.

Met George many years ago and enjoyed his sick sense of humor . Played golf with a different foursome every Saturday but our group would try to be just before or after his group. The eight of us would interact both on the course and off. I ended up working with George at Sportsman“s. Continued to be a good friend when I moved to Florida. I was in complete shock when I heard the news.
R.I.P. dear friend and keep it in the fareway.

We worked together at Sportsmans for many years and he was a good friend. When I retired I was added to his famous e-mail list. What a joy to have had him in my life.
