Uncle George was the most amazing man ever! All he ever wanted to make everyone around him happy. He was a special man, who was like a father to me. Uncle George always seemed to "fix" everything. He always made me feel like I was THE most special niece in the world! Uncle George may be gone, but he left us all with THE greatest thing ever.....he left us with his memories 8). Your memory will be eternal Uncle George. xoxo

We were so sorry to hear of George's death. We remember him as far back as Greek School. Through the years, we always enjoyed seeing him at a mutual friend's home. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to Georgies family.
When my wife and I were awarded custody of my daughters, I still had to pay child support to my ex for about two months till the next court date. I was so broke. All I did was ask him for five bucks for gas. That night he comes to my door with five bags of groceries.
I was with him when we found about the snake on the plane, he hid out with us for awhile he was so scared.
He once joked with me that the only reason I wanted him to be my best man at my civil service wedding was because he was as short as my wife. I told him the truth, I told him because he was the best man I know.
I saw him at the hospital when he had his heart surgery. For as much pain as he was in, he managed to have one of the nurses hold his hand as I came in. He was really spaced out. As he was pretty much out of it, I shook his hand, he kissed it. He thought I was the nurse. He told me to never tell a soul about that until he was gone. Well I did.
I'll cry hard for awhile, and I know I'll see him in heaven and smile forever.
God Bless You George. You are the biggest man I have ever known.
