GEORGE R.
Age 82, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Dormont, on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Beloved husband for 60 years of Phyllis (Angelino) Lucas; devoted father of Randall (Cely) Lucas, Cynthia (Bruce) Slogan, Sharon (Gilbert) Dreger, Martin (Judy) Lucas, Ronald (Mary) Lucas, Georgina (Kurt) Holmes and Anna (Dennis) Lynn; brother of Leo, Gloria, the late Leonard, Edward and Elmer Lucas; also survived by 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. George was a Sergeant in the Army during the Korean Conflict and was a retired mill rite with U. S. Steel. Friends will be welcomed at the LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Bernard Church, Saturday morning at 11:30. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to St. Bernard Church, 311 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15216.

I am so sorry that George has passed on. I pray that your wonderful memories of him will be comforting and bring you peace. I had the pleasure of meeting George on many occasions when he visited Anna in Minnesota. He was a great guy.
