May you rest in peace Poppa McCorkle. Gone but NEVER forgotten. I still rememeber the day that we had a game at Texas Womens and a fan said "Christel your mom and dad are here" and i start looking around the stadium looking for my parents. The gal said "Right there, isnt that your mom and dad"? Ever since that day you and Mrs. McCorkle became my mom and dad away from home. I will never forget all the love and support that both of u gave me and my family. You are in a better place and im just blessed to have seen u this summer before u went to be with the lord...Love u Poppa McCorkle and Momma McCorkle you stay strong...Love Christel and Ary'anna

Ola and family you are in our thoughts and prayers. As for me, I am the last one alive of the 3 class members that joined the US Air Force. I know Sherman was glad to see George get his wings and soar high into the HEAVENS TO JOIN HIM. The circle will be complete one day when God grants me my wings and calls me to join my buddies. I'll always have fond memories of George for he was very much my brother as well as a good friend and classmate.

GEORGE I SALUTE YOU one final time!

Rest In Peace
