GEORGE, Jr.
Age 76, of West Deer Twp., on August 24, 2014. Born June 3, 1938, on the South Side, to the late George and Mary (Mamula) Mervosh. George was a '56 graduate of South High School, '61 graduate of Duquesne University. He also was a US Marine Veteran and owner of Mervosh Insurance Agency, Russellton, for over 42 years. He was the loving husband of Olga (Vondas) Mervosh; father of George (Sandra) Mervosh III, Shaler, Nicholas Mervosh, Long Island, NY and Marianna (Rick) Stoneburner, East Deer; grandfather of Elizabeth Ann Mervosh, New Orleans, Nicholas and Emily Mervosh, both of Long Island, NY, Alexandra and Sal Stoneburner, East Deer; and brother of Anna Mae (Theodore) Phillips, Fox Chapel. Family received Tue. and Wed. 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in SIWICKI - YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp. Panikhida Service Wed. 7 p.m. in Funeral Home. Family asks those attending Funeral Service to meet Thursday 10 a.m. at St. Alexander Nevsky Orthodox Cathedral, 8290 Thompson Run Road, Pgh., PA 15237. Entombment in Allegheny County Memorial, McCandless.
