Does anyone remember a time when George wasn't smiling?

My memory of George is mostly from the 50's but I was happy to see him at a Sea Girt reunion at Rod's a few years back. He was still smiling.

How sad for all the family to lose that. Rest in peace dear George as I picture you riding your bike to the beach !

I am so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful man. George was the best employer I ever had and I truly enjoyed going to work every day. He was always telling stories and making us laugh. He was so full of love for his family and and friends. I only saw him a few months ago at Cappy's memorial service, and we got to catch up on all that was going on with his family. He loved to talk about all of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He will truly be missed by so many. Rest in peace George.

This is a man whose legacy will live on from generation to generation through his many wonderful children. I knew George since I was about 12 years old and in recent years chatted with him at mass most Saturdays at St. Cassian. He always remembered things about my kids that surprised me. And he was indeed always so proud of his children and grandchildren. I will always remember his laugh, and look back on many wonderful memories that were formed in the house on Highland. Oh my, the fun we had! Thanks George for your generosity...and making the world a better place through you and the beautiful family that will continue to grow.

When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight. ~Kahlil Gibran

Eternal rest be granted unto him, Oh Lord , and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
