Roy Doyle Obituary

CONWAY | Roy Carl Doyle Sr., age 66, of Doyle Lane, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005 at Loris Community Hospital.



Mr. Doyle was born in Horry County, a son of the late Joe Dusenbury Doyle Sr. and Glen Dora Mishoe Doyle. He was predeceased by three brothers, B.D. Doyle, J.D. Doyle, and Paul Doyle.



Surviving are two sons, Roger Doyle and his wife Sandy, and Roy Carl Doyle Jr. and his wife Vickie, all of Conway; two daughters, Carolyn Dean and her husband Joey, of Loris, and Debbie Rabon of Conway; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill Doyle and his wife Faye, of Conway; one sister-in-law, Alma Lee of Loris; three sisters Linda Rogers and her husband Roland, of Naples, Fla., Delma Goff of OH, and Ann Prater, formerly of Loris; loving companion, Carol Sue Faulk, and a good friend, Mary Ann Strickland.



Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in Fox Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Hey our thoughts and prayers are with you. And god bless your family. And Mr.Roy's loss and Roby's loss. Roby was my best friend.They are gone but they are together and they will never be forgotton.
