To all of George's children, let me first thank you for allowing me to care for him over the years. It has been a blessing for me to have been able to call him a close friend. He had such a remarkable life and was one of the most humble men I will ever meet. My husband said when he thinks of "Murph" the words faith, family & friends come into mind. It's true as those three items were most important to him. He accomplished many great things in his years but his greatest accomplishment was all of you. Through his family, his legacy will continue on for many years to follow. You were all his greatest & most valuable treasure! I am going to miss seeing him each day & sharing all of life's (little) concerns. With a friend like George, those things seemed to be much easier to bear. Although I am saddened by this great loss, I am joyful knowing he is again reunited with your beloved mother. May they both look down now on all of you & guide you all to the greatest lives you are all destined to live. You all had the best model for a life well lived! Much love.
