George inspired me to become the attorney that I am today. George and my dad were best friends, having first met in DC when they were both going to grad school. Some of my fondest childhood memories involve time spent with George. And he always knew how to make you laugh. God bless this great man.

One of the most kindest, gentlest and thoughtful persons God created who served Professionally with Grace, Love and Caring to all whom came before him. He always had time for you and your clients and served them with distinction. An exceptional attorney who demonstrated his law practice impeccably whether behind the bench, at a closing table or in his office. With his phenomenal knowledge along with his kind and caring way he knew how to professionally calm and resolve issues satisfying clients and their families. It is hard to imagine just how many lives this wonderful man touched. The County of Cape May, State of New Jersey and our Country has lossed a Gem from the Law Practice; however, many lives have been greatly enriched by just his acquaintance. He will be sadly missed.

Condolences to GB's friends and family. I grew up in Williamstown and graduated with him. He sat behind me in German class and was an excellent student.
I spent many summers in Avalon, and one day I walked past an office, noticed his name posted outside, and was going to stop in and say hello but the office was closed. His obit exhibits a man with a full life. Rest in peace GB.

George: You were who they were thinking about when they coined the term "pillar of the bar". I struggle to imagine how the edifice can stand without you. I know that I will encounter your elegant spirit from time to time in the winds that blow through these lovely pine barrens -- to which you introduced me many decades ago, driving in your jeep through the dense woods from Batsto to Atsion. Rest peacefully, old friend.

A young lawyer never forgets the experienced lawyers who were kind, patient, and encouraging at the start of their careers. George was all three without fail. I met Geoge in 1984 and never knew him to be anything but a consummate gentlemen and scholar. You will be missed.
