Wow! A GREAT LEGAND has left us for the The Greater Grand Stand in the sky. George has touched a lot of people in softball and life.He left (us kids) to be part of his daughters lifes!
He was so proud of Shannon and The Girls.
We were lost, but we had BOBBY! Lots of great memories at The Garden and I'm putting on my Garden Bar Champs coat now and going out.
So Sorry for your loss

Met George playing American Legion baseball for Brookline. Our paths would cross again through the years. Sometimes while coaching our daughters. I would see George at different softball tournaments. Also, at the arena for hockey games. Keeping all of you in my prayers.

George was a great friend from the start when I met him playing American legion baseball in Brookline. Then our careers merged when we worked together at Duquesne University. My sympathies to his family.

George was a great person. I knew him from birth. Such a loss of life for this young man and his family. I will always remember him for that big smile and hug I received whenever we visited. My deepest sympathy to Shannon, girls and Bob and his family. Rest in peace son. I will always love you
