George Peredo Obituary
George is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rose Artero Peredo, and their children: Michael of Santa Clara, Gordon (Sue) of San Jose, Angela (Dennis) Gumataotao of Lake Elsinore CA and Jim (Dawn) of Lakewood WA, as well as 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, plus one on the way.
George served 22 1/2 years in the US Navy as a photographer, retiring in 1976. He spent 3 tours of duty on the U.S.S. Midway CV-41 in the early 1970's: two to Vietnam and one to Korea. His passion for photography continued in his subsequent careers: Photo Lab Technician for 11 years with the San Jose Police Department; X-ray Lab Technician at the Guam Memorial Hospital, Guam; and Photographer at various weddings, and funerals, during retirement.
Viewing and Rosary on August 21 at 7:00pm at Lima & Campagna Funeral Home, 1315 Hollenbeck Ave, Sunnyvale. Funeral Mass on August 22 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church 2800 Mission College Blvd, Santa Clara, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 22555 Cristo Rey Dr,Los Altos.

Our condolences to George´s family.
I was stationed with him in VAP61 at NAS AGANA 1959-1961! He was a very good person.
