My sympathies go out to all those who knew George. I knew George through Navy-Marine Corps MARS. Although I never got the chance to meet him in person and though I only knew him for a few short months I can say he played a positive role helping me learn to be a radio operator. He was always very quick to offer help or advice to make me a better communicator. His experience, knowledge, and kind spirit will be missed.

George contributed much to his amateur radio hobby and to his country through his long and active volunteer support of the Navy-Marine Corps Military Auxiliary Radio Service. We appreciate his service and will miss him.

It was with sadness and regret that i learned of George's passing. I knew George through his work with Navy Marine Corps MARS. Needless to say he will be greatly missed.

Sorry to hear of George's passing. Had the pleasure to know him and his family while members of both St Mark's UMC and Ferry Pass UMC.
