George J. Shaw

George was born on March 26, 1934 and passed away in May 2019. George was a resident of Wareham, Massachusetts at the time of passing. He graduated from Holyoke High School in 1951. He enlisted in the Navy after graduation and became a Navy Corpsman, a decision that would impact the rest of his life. During his life, he was very active in Social Harmony and Pythagorean Masonic Lodges. He was also a Past Master of the 31st Nantucket District Masonic Lodge of Instruction, located in New Bedford, MA. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the First Congregational Church, 11 Gibbs Ave., Wareham. Interment at the National Cemetery in Bourne will be at a later date.
