George Sherwood was a favorite in-law of the (John) Freddie Edwards branch of the family. George was a wonderful husband to Mary Jean, a devout father to Cindy & Beth, an awesome grandpa & uncle to so many. children. He was always the first to step up to help someone who was in need or to say a kind word to someone who needed encouragement. George was a true Mensch & no doubt people who knew George will miss his presence on earth & hopefully George will keep his family & friends in his prayers as he enjoys the love & beauty of his heavenly home. I hope & pray to see you again someday my friend.

I had the pleasure of knowing George through his work with Lorain County Right to Life. He was kind, gentle, approachable, humble and always friendly. He will be missed. Our loss is heaven´s gain.

Very sorry for your loss, didn't know George but I also crewed F-105s in Thailand. We as Veterans are all Brothers and feel over anyone lost.

Very sorry for your loss. I was so looking forward to having George back at MAPS to help finish the restoration of the F-105. He will be in our thoughts as we continue the work he started.
