George Stover, Jr, 90, a resident of Mansfield passed away on April 11, 2025.

Born in Fulton West Virginia on June 23, 1934 to George and Ocie (Crouse, Hodge) Stover.

George retired from the Ohio Brass where he worked in the maintenance department. He had a servant heart, and was content with the gifts God gave. George was talented in woodworking, and created many gifts for family and friends. He enjoyed cooking and sharing meals, especially the recipes he would create. He enjoyed the outdoors, planting a garden, deer hunting trips, fishing and camping.

George served in the US Army, during the Korean War. After his tour of duty he returned to marry the 'love of his life" Janice which they shared 62 years of marriage.

George is survived by daughter Sandra K. Stover; son George D. (Etta) Stover; grandchildren, Samuel Parks, Daniel (Brittany) Stover, Leonard (Melody) Parks, Jayson (Heather) Stover, Brandon (Shannon) Stover, Joshua (Christina) Smith, Elizabeth (Matt) Rhea; great grandchildren, Caleb Parks, Nathan Parks, Orion (Hailey) Parks, Julia- Ann (Jordan) Webster, David Parks, Savannah Stover, Samantha Parks, Wyatt Stover, Noah Stover, Bryson Parks, Olivia Parks, Adelynn Stover, Amelia Stover, Ophelia Smith, Kaylee Rhea: two great-great grandchildren Delilah and Jane Parks; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janice and 20 siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held on May 9, 2025, from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens 4108 US 42 S . Lexington, OH. Service will be in the Chapel
