A Message from Australia
To Eve and family, so sorry to hear about you great loss. Colin was a beautiful, caring and honest man and I have never even met him in person. Our family was lucky to meet Colin through the Saltfleetby village website whle we were looking for family history. And boy did we come up trumps when Colin answered our email. We now have certificates, photos, books etc all thanks to him and Eve. What an amazing man. Words cant express enough what Colin has done for our Family and we will be eternally gratefull to all the effort he put in to help us, even Having my Brother MAtt for a day to show him the village ( matt is the lucky one in our family to meet him in person). Thank you and you will be greatly missed. All our love to Eve and the Family and a special thanks to BRooke for the posting of the Euloghy on the website. Love, Meg

A Thought from Canada
Do Not Weep For Me
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am the song that will never end.
I am the love of family and friend.
I am the child who has come to rest
In the arms of the Father who knows him best.
When you see the sunset fair,
I am the scented evening air.
I am the joy of a task well done.
I am the glow of the setting sun.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

A Loyal Soul
The Epton Family...Canada...
Colin's loyalty to those whom he held dear spanned the globe as we here in Canada dearly cherished his link to our heritage. He always cared enough to ask after our Mother, Eve, and our Aunt Marion, sister to his Cousin Bob (Robert Arthur) Epton as they walked the path to their place of rest and reunion with those family memberswho walked before them.
I recall my delight when Colin and I made contact and passed notes of family news and well wishes across the sea. His news was shared with my sisters Lynda, Susan and Kate which rekindled stories of our parents Eve & Bob as they grew up in and with ties to the UK. We would speak of the Lincolnshire family and climb up and through the family tree for hours on end.
For that we thank you Colin...we shall always remember you with a smile in our eyes & in our hearts.
