George White, 55, passed away on August 13, 2025 in Queens, NY. Born in Penn Yan, NY at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Georgie was the youngest child born into a family of many siblings, who all loved him dearly.

George was known for his love of the outdoors and camping. He worked mainly as an independent dry wall hanger, and was an excellent handyman with the ability to fix anything.

George faced challenges of substance abuse for many years, but it never diminished his outgoing spirit and his hope that he would one day be free of addiction.

George is preceded in death by an infant son, Garrett. He is also predeceased by his parents, George and Sheila White of Keuka Park. George is survived by his four daughters; Sheila (Reed) White of Maryland, Georgia White of Rochester, Margot White of Ithaca and Allie White of Penn Yan. He is survived by his siblings, Gregory (Renee) White of Flemingsburg, KY, Vicki (Dan) Tuttle of Varysburg, NY; Sharrey Calvetti of Canandaigua, NY; Kathy Saunier of Anderson, SC; Doug White of Mt. Sterling, KY; Jackie (Bill) Hymel of Mt. Sterling, KY; Mark (Angela) White of Sun City, AZ; and Lisa (Craig) Weaver of Palm Harbor, FL. He is survived by two beautiful grandchildren, Ava and Jack White of Maryland. George is also survived by Tracy Daggett, whom he loved very much and who brought him so much joy the past few years. He is survived by many cousins but especially a very special cousin, Gordon Dunton, who was always there for George, helping him fight his addiction.
