Bossier - Graveside service for Ms. Georgia Irene Nance, 76, will be 10 a.m., Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Fillmore Cemetery, Princeton, La. Open visitation will be from 11 to 4 p.m. Friday at Zion Baptist John H Wilson, 3038 Hollywood Ave. Minister Charles Ray Banks, officiating.

Ms. Nance was a longtime resident of Bossier Parish. She was born February 28, 1944 to the late M. E. Nance and Helen Hodge in Plain Dealing, La., reared by Tommie Nance and Maston Nance. She was baptized at an early age. She graduated from Carrie Martin High School in 1961. After high school she furthered her education at La France Beauty School, graduating in 1962. As a license beautician she practice for over 25 years. She also worked at Bossier Parish Health Unit for over 15 years.

Ms. Nance entered into eternal rest on December 2, 2020 after a brief illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Tonia Nance Delaney, brother; Alonzo Hodge.

She is survived by her daughter; Barbara Rey, rearing two grandchildren as her own; Maston Nance and Alphonso Nance, 2 brothers; Clyde Lewis (Doris), Bobby Nance and Ronnie Nance, 3 grandchildren; Milcah Rey, Micaiah Rey and Benaiah Rey, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and three close friends; Barbara Banks Jones, Robert Ann Franklin and Betty Burton.
