GEORGIANNE PALINSKI Obituary

Georgianne Palinski of Round Lake Beach Georgianne Palinski passed away on Dec. 16, 2012. She was born on Oct. 10, 1943, in Chicago, to Adam and Georgia (nee Hayden) Rzechula. She was a loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother. Family was first and foremost to her. She enjoyed attending all children's events and creating her own greeting cards for all occasions. Georgianne will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 52 years, John Palinski, with whom she was united in marriage on March 26, 1960; her children, Teressa (Megan), John (Evon) Palinski Jr., Marrisa and Ransom (Barbara) Palinski Sr.; her nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her many extended grandchildren; and her siblings, Howard Calkins Sr. and Sharon Christie. Many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Patricia Tedesco; and brother, Roy Rzechula. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 19, from 3 until 8 p.m. at the K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake. Interment will be private. My best memory of Jo is from Easter many years ago, when we stood on the stoop and talked for at least two hours. Jo visited lots of family that day and was giving me all the details of her wonderful day. John and Mike kept yelling out the door, "are you two still gabbing out there?" We just laughed and kept on talking! Jo was a special lady and will be missed by all her friends and family.
