Jerry and dad grew up together and I am so happy for that. Between Nettie St, hunting fishing vacations reunions , they had some great stories. Jerry took me coon hunting whe I was a kid and chased after the dogs with all the lights! Hayward was a yearly event in the 70's and I remember sinking his minnow bucket and horse back riding. Must of all, just the stories between Ack and Mase would send me daydreaming of Canada or hunting adventures. We will miss you , Ack ... Say hi to Kenny up there. They certainly have some of the gang back together...thoughts and prayers from Tammi & I

We are so sorry to learn of your very sad loss. Although a few thousand miles separate us now, I always remember the many fond memories spending good times with you & Jerry when living in Belvidere.
We're so blessed to have reconnected with you in 2006 while visiting ole haunts there.
Although this is such a difficult time for you all, we hope knowing Jerry touched many lives, and that the support and love of your family and friends will eventually help ease your sorrow.

Acky, you were like a second dad to me. You were a wonderful man. How many bosses bring gifts to their workers newborn children? Only one that I know of. You went to bat for me several times because you knew that I meant well, but I was just a dumb kid. Well I've grown into a responsible man now and I owe a lot of that to you. Godspeed there Dutchman. You are going to be sorely missed. You went out with your boots on didn't you old buddy!
