Dr. Gerald BARNES

Dr Barnes was my primary care physician. I was devastated when he retired because I knew I would never find another doctor so kind and caring. May his memory be eternal.

Jerry had a great sense of humor. He was a wonderful resident and doctor and an amazing woodworker. Val and Jenny, am very sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts.

Dear Val and Jenny,
We send our love to you both. So many wonderful dinners and gatherings spent together. What a precious person Jerry was for all of us and for so many more. With deepest condolences To you and gratitude for Knowing and sharing Jerry.

Jerry was my intern at SPRH and at MVAH back in the 70s. I admired his care of patients, his medical judgment,

Jerry lived a good life and lived that life with gusto! He was a kind, sweet, smart, generous person who cared about deeply about people. When I think about Jerry, I will always remember his smile and the twinkle in his eye.

I would rather send a nice bottle of red and a personalized note. I guess the note will do. I’ll miss Jerry’s kindness, humor and culinary adventures! My thoughts are with Val and Jennifer at this time.
