Gerald ENNIS Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father Jerry, late of Regina, SK on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the age of 66 years, following a hard-fought battle against ALS. He was predeceased by his father Grant Calvin Ennis. Jerry is survived by his son Cory (Melanie) Ennis; grandson Reed; daughter Nicole (Ryan) Dobson; granddaughters Maya and Lucy; his partner Debbie Lenko and her sons Dallas and Byron; the mother of his children, Linda Bertholet; mother Matilda (Jack) Huhtala; brother Calvin Ennis (Marilyn); sister Debbie (Monty) Chodak; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Jerry was surrounded by family and close friends in the moments leading up to his passing. Anyone who knew Jerry knows what a proud, independent, strong-willed man with a heart-of-gold he was. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK S4V 3A3 on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jerry may be made to the ALS Society of Saskatchewan, 90C Cavendish Street, Regina, SK S4N 5G7. Jerry's, obituary could not have described him better proud, independent, strong-willed with a heart of Gold.
That is the Friend we knew and we will miss him very much.

Condolences to all the Ennis family. I have known Jerry since we were 12 years old. The days of growing up together on Lorne Street and the crazy memorable high school days at Miller. Our interest in cars and related social life memories will be treasured. Jerry had a personality we will certainly miss and his out going demeanor and fun loving spirit will be remembered. When he came to visit us in White Rock, my kids mentioned how he is such a cool friend of yours. To this day they still repeat some of his funny philosophical sayings that we cannot repeat. When he was leaving the next morning it was typical Jerry as he was blasting his car radio at 6:00 a.m. and dancing on the driveway. We will miss you my old friend.
