March 12, 1950 – September 22, 2013
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, Gerald Folk, on Sunday, September 22, 2013. He is survived by his son Rob (Tracey) and their children Taylor, Rhys, Brooke and Ty; and daughter Tracy (Derek) and their children Dajarra, Breckridge and Bridger. Gerald cherished his children and grandchildren and he will be missed by all who knew him. A Graveside Service will be held at a country cemetery near Dilke, SK on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend, please meet on the road outside the Dilke Cemetery gates, and we will proceed from there. My deepest sympathy, Gerald will be missed by all of us who looked after him at WRC. He was quite a character and although he could not speak, he got his point across very well. I was one of those who looked after him and I know I will miss him very much. It was a pleasure to know him. Janet Cookson

Condolences to the family on the loss of a wonderful man. Knew him when he used to come into Billy- Bob's for some drinks and listen to the bands play music. He truly will be missed.

Bob & Tracy: My condolences to you both for the loss of your dad. I have many fond memories of uncle Gerald from when I was young. His laugh was contagious and I seldom saw him without a huge smile. Cherish the good memories! I will as they make me feel young again. Love your cousin Kathleen
