Katie Belle Williams Bell GRETNA - Katie Belle Williams Bell, 78, died Thursday, March 5, 2009, in Tallahassee, Fla. Services will be at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday, March 14, at Zion Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Gretna, with burial following in the Springfield AME Church Cemetery in Gretna. Viewing will be from 3 to 8 p.m. EDT Friday March 13, at Bradwell Mortuary of Quincy (850-627-3700) is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include daughters, Irestine Hollis, Ethel Bell, Lonnie B. Wheeler, Barbara Baker and Alice Horne; sister, Bessie L. Williams; brothers, Joshua Williams, Lindell Williams, Wendell Williams and I. C. Williams; Maggie Pollock and Estelle Bell; and devoted cousin and goddaughter, Christine McMillian.

Lonnie and Alice and the rest of the family, I just read about the passing of your mother. I am thinking of you and the family and know how hard it is to give up a loved one. Just know she is in a better place. It is hard at this time but as time goes it will get better and you all will share a lot of good memories. Take care.
