John, Jane, Paul, and extended Gerrits Family: There are no words that I/We can express that will stop the pain you are feeling right now, but know that Uncle Gerry is not in pain anymore and is with Jim, Ken, your parents, and many cousins and friends up in heaven. I can't even imagine the pain you are going through right now. Throughout all the trials and tribulations you went through together as children, you were a very close family who loved and still love each other very much. Although, sometimes I think with all that stubbornness, Uncle Gerry could be a pain in the butt, you loved and respected your brother so much. He is going to look over you for the rest of your lives on earth and keep you on the straight and narrow path, because that is what big brothers do. We will pray for you and be there if you need us. Dan, Bonnie, Matthew, Maria, and Mairee Gerrits

Dear Mary, Steve, Joe, David, and Extended Gerrits Family: With Deepest Sympathy for your loss. Dan and I loved Uncle Gerry. He was a good man even in his old age. Although, we all know he had a stubbornness in him, he still had a gentle soul. He always came to all of our family get-togethers when he was able to, even though he had health issues. He had a very stong opinion about a lot of stuff, but we loved him anyways. Underneath that scruffy beard was a good man. He raised four great children and even though he did not get to see his grandchildren and great grandchildren that much, he was proud of them. It is never easy to lose a loved one and this year has been tough on all the Gerrits Family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and if you need us, we will be there for you. With Love: Dan, Bonnie, Matthew, Maria & Mairee Gerrits
