GERALD D. GREENLEE

I didn't know Gerry well but he was a wonderful next door neighbor. We enjoyed seeing him and Dorothy around and visiting from time to time. I'm just learning of his passing and wanted to share my condolences to his family. If the memorial hasn't already occurred, please let me know when it is. All my love to Dorothy!

This WWll generation was some of the greatest that have ever lived. They saw and lived through many hard things in their lives. My dad (George) and Gerry were related by marriage. Both had stories to tell that went undocumented. But those that knew them were enriched by their telling of them. Both were good men. Unfortunately George died at a young age after the war. Gerry was my last connection to the past. There's a part of you that disappears when that connection is gone. I will miss Gerry. He was a good uncle. He always had a good sense of humor and laughed when I told jokes. Life is always changing. And he will be a part of my mental history that I will not forget. Gerry is now part of the great multitude of heavenly spirits surrounding the throne of God with all of its rewards. If you believe and accept Jesus as your personal Savior, you will be there too someday. But, for now...so long Gerry. It's been a good run... Ron.
