Gerald "Gerry" Hudson
Gerald "Gerry" Hudson age 76, passed away January 9, 2023.
Gerry was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, to Roy and Eileen Hudson. Soon after his birth, Gerry, his siblings, and parents immigrated, by train, from Canada to Helena, Montana, where his father had trained with the First Special Service Force. Gerry graduated from Helena High School in 1964 and from the University of Montana in 1969. He married the love of his life, Jane Little, in 1968 in Sidney, Montana. Gerry learned at a young age the meaning and value of hard work. Because of this, he had many successful careers.
He is remembered lovingly as a caring husband, loving father, dear brother, special uncle, loyal friend, and supportive mentor. He had a big heart, brilliant mind, endless passion, enormous creativity, engaging wit, infinite leadership skills, and undying loyalty. He touched the lives and hearts of so many.
Gerry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jane Hudson, his son Ivan Zheraldovich, son-in-law Fabio Zuluaga, sister Marilyn Hudson, twin brother Jim Hudson, brothers-in-law: David Little and Mike Little, and nephews and nieces: Steve Winslow, Karen Bentley, Geoffrey Hudson, Leah Hudson, Brett Cyril Little, and Michelle Little.
A memorial service will be held for Gerry on Monday, January 30, 2023, at the Oasis in Venture Out Resort, 5001 E Main St, Mesa, Arizona, at 4:00 PM MST.

Dear Jane,
I´m so sorry for you as you deal with Jerry´s passing. My memories of Jerry are all at King of Glory Lutheran church. Especially when he preached the sermon. One sermon that I shall never forget is why KOG does not have stained glass windows....our mission is outreach. We need to see our community and it´s needs.

Well, there's that wonderful smile (ear to ear) and a twinkle in his eye! I graduated with Gerry in 1964 (oh my Lord!) and remember his upbeat personality and his embrace of life...he was just a friendly guy and, of course, that smile....I believe I last saw Gerry and Jane at our 50th HS reunion....he was always approachable and happy to see you. Life just whizzed by and I will remember him fondly. RIP dear Gerry.

I met Gerry while selling real estate at Floberg Realtors in the '80s. He wrote the best CMA's of all of us. So organized and tidy. RIP Gerry and my sincere sympathy to his faithful wife Jane of 54 years.

We are so sorry to hear about Gerry. I will him at Glass Arts. He was always so helpful. When we walked passed your house he was always sitting at his computer and we would wave at him. We enjoyed stopping and talking to him. He always had that kind smile that was contagious. We were blessed to have Gerry in our lives. Gerry will be greatly missed by all. Earl and Mary Niehoff

Jane,
We´re so very sorry for the loss of Gerry, your best friend, and love of your life for 53 years. We are so thankful to have met you both on a VO bus tour to Palm Springs. I´ll never, ever forget our memorable trip to the top of the mountain in the tram. And finding Gerry to be the 1st person off the tram. Have loved you both ever since. Judy & Rob Sell

I was so sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. We met at the Glass Studio in Venture Out a few years ago. He was so generous with his time, always willing to stop and offer advice, inviting us to try new things... anything was possible! He was so wise in the glass world. He was a great person on the Board as well... so knowledgeable, knew the Club's history like the back of his hand! We had planned to meet when I returned to AZ in March...Godspeed my friend.

Hi Jane: So sorry to read of Gerry’s passing in this morning’s paper. We were fraternity brothers back in the day. Haven’t had contact for a long time. Great guy, solid, straight shooter, genuine, good worker at the fraternity. My condolences on your loss. He will be missed. I’m not ready for members of our generation to check out yet. Best wishes.
