I just want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone that came to the funeral, sent cards, prayers or even called. You all mean so much to our family and we know that dad had a great bunch of friends and family. Thank you again. Yesterday was a beautiful service and I think he would be proud of all the Pabst that was drank. :)

Jerry & Shirley in Mississippi
February 9, 2012
January 29, 2012
From an 'old' high school buddy:
I have a picture of Jer & myself in our UGHS marching band uniforms. We enlisted in the U.S. Air Force together, were together for most of 'boot camp', again @ Amarillo Tech school, I also have a picture of the both of us in our Air Force uniforms standing tall,@ Amarillo, November 1963, when our families traveled to be with us for our 1st Thanksgiving away from home. Both of these pictures are on my computer @ home. Hoping to share them with Jer's family sometime in the future.
Our prayers are with Jerry's family at this time of great loss.

To the Leinonen Family, I have had the pleasure of knowing Jer for most of my life. He began to work for the family business when I was 10 years old. To me he was a combination of an older brother and favorite uncle. He had a quiet confidence about him that I will greatly miss. I will never forget the smile on his face when I would page him for a phone call from Angie by anouncing over the PA, "Jer, Elvis on line one" He loved you very much.
Rest well my friend,

To my dad, my hero and the first man to love me with his whole heart. I love you and will miss you so much that I can not even explain. My heart hurts so much that you are gone. We have had so many fun times and that helps me to keep many good memories of you close to me. I love you so much and hope that Toni and Grandpa are keeping you close and that you have fun fishing trips with Uncle Jeff. Rest in peace daddy. I love you always. Dear Jer,
You were the best Brother-In-Law a girl could ask for. We had so much fun at family gatherings, parties, bowling, bars, weddings, bar-b-ques... Craig won't be able to go to our lower level bar without missing you. Birthdays & Holidays will never be the same.
I loved to watch you and Craig. You were so much alike; so close. People used to refer to the two of you as "The Brothers". Both of you were calm & cool. If something bothered you; you paced back and forth, and shook your head. You only swore during horseshoes, other sports, or when a project wasn't turning out right. You both treat your wives with respect, and value family above all else. That's why I love you guy. I'm so happy you didn't suffer. Save a place for Craig & I. See you again soon.
Mom & Gene, Brian & Holly, Jim & his daugter Lilly, and Scott will all miss you too. They want to send their love to you, and your family.
