I remember meeting Gerry and President Bill Wynn many years ago when the UFCW was in its early years. We've come a long way since then, due largely to the hard work put in during the Amalgamated Meatcutters days by the likes of Gerry.
Knowing what a toll "union work" can put on one's family, I wanted to say thank you to his loved ones on behalf of the many who work for better wages and under better conditions as a result of his work.
