I just learned of Gerald´s death. I have so many great memories of times shared that give me laughs and fond feelings. Gerald, I hope you´re in a happy place-your life was too short.

Gerald, I miss you my brother and think of you near every day. I take comfort that we will meet again, till then Jesus has got you so relax.

Gerald was a man of great integrity and honor. He was quick with a smile and had a gentle, kind heart. Gerald was clearly an angel on earth. It was an privilege as well as a blessing to know Gerald.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

We hope the holes left in your hearts are filled with the love and memories you have of Gerald which we know are infinite. You are both carried in our thoughts as well as in our hearts. Your life looked and sounds so full Gerald! I wish I would've had more opportunities to know you and your family better. But I am grateful I was lucky enough for a chance to spend a little time with you at Grandpa Don's house. May your presence and love be a guiding comfort to the loved ones who are waiting to meet you again.

When Gerald and Edara purchased The Retail Search Group they made sure that the culture included our families like never before. I will never forget the special trips to fun places like Sunsplash or how our Christmas parties always included a special guest appearance by Santa for our kido's. We became a family like never before at RSG and have cherished that. Gerald's servant heart mentality was how he lived life. He was a true man of God and was never afraid to share. He will be missed by everyone he touched during his life as he was full of life. His favorite phrase or question was always "How's the Good Life", something that brings a smile to my face when I hear today. Sending thoughts and prayers to Edara and the Mitchell family. So sorry to hear of Geralds passing yet grateful for the extra 11 years he received. We both admired him so much, not only for his excellence in business but also for his character. He was so respected by all who knew him.

I knew him more than 35 years ago as brothers-in-law. He was a great light and wonderful man.

When Gerald was in the room you knew it! He had a twinkle in his eye, warmth in his heart and an extremely generous spirit. Our life was blessed beyond measure with God's gift of Gerald's friendship!!

Gerald was incredible! He had something positive to say about every person he interacted with during the day. I personally witnessed that many times at our gym as he would walk by and say something nice to everybody he was passing. What a great, positive attitude he lived, and was a giant of a Christian man. He truly emulated Christ and shared Christ’s love with others. God bless you all during this time. Treasure those memories and know that he is truly with God again. You will see him someday in heaven, because of our Savior Jesus Christ. Go with God, Gerald. Thank you for blessing my life so abundantly. I love your family❤
