Gerald S. Rourke Jr.

He was a very nice young man, and well read. I remember talking to him about English and American literature when he was in his early teens while our Boy Scout Troop 1427 was in camp one summer. Joyce and Jerry, please accept our continuing best wishes.

I just found out about Jerry's passing and I am saddened of the news. I knew Jerry via Nicole's family. Jerry was a man who was terribly devoted to the people (and Loki) he loved, he did everything he could to better those he loved and stayed true to his passions. He was a gentle Man, a kind Man and always positive. Jerry, even though your body is gone, your soul lives on and you won't be forgotten.

I was very sad news for me to hear of Jerry's passing and my thoughts are with his family in this very difficult time.

Jerry and I were good friends in high school, though we lost touch after we left for college and I have not seen him for 25 years or so. I have thought about him time and again and now find my memories of him are very vivid since hearing this terrible news.

Jerry was a great friend and I enjoyed the many times we spent together.

I can still remember freshman year at Oberlin and meeting Jerry on the lawn of South. You will be missed.
