Gerald, I have never met a gentleman as sweet, as kind, and compassionate as you are. You are a treasure to me and especially to my daughter, Silvana. We saw a sweet reminder of you today, on my daughter´s swingset. The red cardinal has been appearing to us, on a daily basis, now. I know in my heart, this is a sweet reminder of you, watching over Silvana. You loved Silvana as if she were your own granddaughter, and took her under your wing. Silvana tells me daily she misses you, and is sad she never got to say goodbye, to you. I let her know your an angel watching over her, just as you did here, on earth. Our heart is broken because of your loss. My daughter has shed tears for you, because you are no longer, here with us, as we share in the joy of who you are. I would give anything to have one more coffee, one more day, to hear of your jokes, and for Silvana & I just to laugh, with you. Your sweet laugher and jokes, made everyday brighter, for us! One more hug from you to Silvana is what she has been asking for. I just want you and your family to know, in New Jersey how you impacted my daughter´s life and how she and I will never forget you, and the amazing person you are! You were the peacemaker, & the one I could trust and confide in with my daughter, knowing she felt safe, with you. I remember the last time I saw you about a month ago, you waved at Silvana & I, as we were in our front yard, and my daughter was able to tell you, she loved you and missed you. This moment was such a sweet one for Silvana & I always will encourage her to remember your infectious laughter and love for her and love for life. Our life is less meaningful, without you in it. Our hearts are broken, but Silvana and I were so blessed to know you, and have the time, we had to share with you. You are a treasure, and blessing we will never forget. Much love to you and your family. Mary Heath & Silvana.

Godspeed, my friend. You were truly one of a kind and will be missed by many. Thanks for being my "brother-in-law" when I needed your sales expertise when I was car shopping, for the many years of jokes I was always going to retell but could never remember, for being a devoted husband to our lovely Marietta and a proud father of your three children.
