Gerald "Jerry" Wilcox

Jerry and I were classmates in law school. We came
from different parts of the country and often had different views, particularly in politics. Nevertheless, our discussions were interesting and good-natured. Jerry was a smart, unpretentious, and always lovable person. I am very sorry to learn about his passing away.

I was saddened to learn of Jerry's death in the Wisconsin Lawyer November edition. I worked with Jerry at the WI DOJ when I was in law school. He thought it was important to add my name as an author on a brief to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals and took me along to hear the oral argument. He was a true teacher and mentor.
