Jennie Brigmon Obituary
Black Mountain - Jennie Holcombe Brigmon, age 86, of Black Mountain died Saturday, April 17, 2021.
Mrs. Brigmon was born October 31, 1934 in Buncombe County to the late Garrett and Mamie Gaddy Holcombe; she had lived in Buncombe County all of her life. Formerly employed at Beacon Manufacturing Mills and A.B. Emblem, she loved cooking for her family and flower gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Judith Church and Janet Ammons; son, Rev. David Brigmon; grandson, Jack Brigmon and the father of her children, William Ralph Brigmon.
Surviving are her daughters, Carrie Lea Webb of Asheville and Diane Brigmon of Black Mountain; son, Jeff Brigmon of Anchorage, AK; sister, Joann Carroll of Morganton; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.
West Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
